Soupman's goal was on the greasy side but still hard to blame Price on that one. Leafs woke up in the third and Habs were no match. Leafs better with Simmonds.

There were a couple of points in the game where they were trying to force some fancy bullpoop instead of crashing the net. It was pretty frustrating.

Leafs would do well to simplify a bit IMO

No, nice to see Matthews - Holl - Muzz - Engvall throwing some body though.

I think the change in Matthews started last year. He's much more agressive physically and is dishing. Muzzin has always hit (even though he is technically dead) Holl is much better than most give him credit for, big body RHD and only $2 M a year. Compare him to Myers on the Nucks. I was wrong about Holl, the way he's played so far this year, he may be the best contract after Hyman on the team.

Agree, besides Simmonds, it would be nice if they could get a player tough enough to stand in front of the net and create more shot opportunities for the top talent and the D-men.

I think the thing to take out here is they want a top 6 winger. And they are targeting someone that's not so much in the rumour mill.

I am sure we will find out closer to the TDL.

Rakell jumps out at me...2 years left, Ducks in a rebuild, fits the bill. Ducks will likely retain cap for more prospects and picks.
